Justin Bieber Speaks Out About Tour Date Cancellations

"I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable," the pop star wrote

It's not too late for Justin Bieber to say sorry.

The Canadian pop star finally explained why he canceled the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour in a letter posted on Instagram Wednesday.

"I want you all to know this tour has been unbelievable and has taught me to much about myself," Bieber wrote. "I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable."

The singer said he was "grateful" for his fans and addressed "insecurities" that he has experienced at times.

"Im VERY aware I'm never gonna be perfect, and I'm gonna keep making mistakes but what I’m not gonna do is let my past dictate my future," Bieber said.

The 23-year-old has been on the Purpose World Tour for the last 18 months and played over 150 shows in six continents. Bieber's representatives said in a statement last month that the singer would "not be performing any further dates," but "loves his fans and hates to disappoint them."
