Kendra Wilkinson (L) and Hank Baskett have split

It's over between Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson. The couple is calling it quits after 8 years of marriage.

"I did everything I could, it wasn't good enough. I will always love him and my heart will always remain open for him," Wilkinson posted in a tearful Instagram story. "I believed in forever. I really did." What may have been the reason behind their split?

Wilkinson first met then-Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Baskett in March 2008. The following June they made it official, as she wed Baskett in a $20,000 duchesse-silk ball gown that covered her growing baby bump.

    The couple have two children.

"10 years. I did everything I could," she said in the video. "It wasn't good enough. I will always love him. My heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever I really did. Guess it's just not meant to be. I'm so scared but I have to get strong for my kids. I will."

Wilkinson then added, "Thank you to all my friends and family for supporting me at the moment. Every little ounce of love helps. Thank you."

At the end of her video, Wilkinson said, "I never thought I'd see the day, really. She also posted a picture from their wedding day and wrote "I believed."
