Reports: ‘Patriots' Day' Filming Moves to Peabody, Mass.; Open Casting Call for Extras Announced

Filming for the movie portraying the events of the Boston Marathon bombing and the manhunt afterwards is reportedly moving to Peabody, Massachusetts.

Salem News says a warehouse that used to host US Foods has been taken over by the production company behind "Patriots' Day," which stars Boston-native Mark Wahlberg.

Meanwhile, locals are being asked come for a casting call for extras in the movie, according to Boston.com.

The open casting call will be held on March 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 129 Braintree St. in Boston's Allston neighborhood.
