Signed Aerosmith, Kiss Guitars Stolen From NH Business, Police Say

At least 11 instruments were taken, including a bass guitar signed by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, police say

Police are searching for at least 11 instruments that authorities say were stolen from the Binnie Media Group in Concord, New Hampshire, last week.

Among the stolen items: guitars signed by members of Aerosmith and Paul Stanley of Kiss and a bass guitar signed by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

The break-in happened overnight between Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, Concord police said in a statement Thursday. Other items taken were a black flying X guitar, gold saxophones, a gold trumpet, a silver trumpet, a silver clarinet and two black clarinets, police said.

Other valuable items were bypassed by the suspect or suspects, leading investigators to believe that the stolen items were targeted and may have been stolen for re-sale on the street or to unsuspecting vendors, police said.

The value of the stolen instruments wasn't given.

The Binnie Media Group, located on Church Street, operates NH1.com and a number of radio stations, according to the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.

Anyone with information on the theft is urged to contact Concord Police at 603-225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
