Maine Boy Plays on Stage With Pearl Jam

Young guitarist Noah Keeley, 10, is from Bar Harbor

Call it a chance of a lifetime...

A 10-year-old boy from Bar Harbor, Maine, was invited to play on stage with Pearl Jam in Quebec City.

Sarah Keeley says her son Noah has always loved Pearl Jam, especially the song "Sad," according to necn affiliate WCSH. Keeley had sent a note to the band requesting the song and included clips of Noah playing Pearl Jam hits.

Lead singer Eddie Vedder invited him onstage to play after seeing the boy in the audience May 5 at the Videotron Centre.

"Noah was dancing and singing and having the time of his life. He had his sign taped on the rail: 1st Show: "Sad" Makes Me Happy, Sarah tells WCSH. "Then after "Lightning Bolt," Eddie came over towards us and crouched down and invited Noah to come up to play the next song."

Pearl Jam will play at Boston's Fenway Park this summer.
