Massachusetts Firefighter Takes $1M ‘Survivor' Prize

A Cambridge, Massachusetts, firefighter is $1 million richer. 

Jeremy Collins is the winner of the CBS reality TV show "Survivor, Second Chance." 

Collins was one of three finalists from an original pool of 20 contestants. This season took place in Cambodia. He was crowned the winner Wednesday night. 

Collins is a Foxboro resident, according to The Sun Chronicle, and his pregnant wife is a police officer in town. 

Collins and his wife appeared in Season 29 in Nicaragua. Jeremy Collins finished then in 10th place.

Jeff Probst hosted Season 31 of the Emmy-winning series in which contestants try to outlast the other competitors and be named the Sole Survivor.
