The Department of Transportation then launched a contest for people to come up with the next humorous-but-valuable catch phrases. The winners include, "Make yah mah proud, wear ya seatbelt," "Keep calm and drive on" and “Put down the phone, your LOL's and OMG's can wait."
A San Francisco stadium closing after 50 years ended with a bang. Thursday night, Paul McCartney rocked the house, drawing thousands of fans to Candlestick Park. People sat in traffic for hours, some even ditching their cars to walk the final stretch to the concert. The ballpark, known for its fog and bone chilling winds, will be demolished to make room for retail and entertainment.
