Taste of Iceland

Bostonians are invited to experience Iceland's vibrant culture during "Taste of Iceland."

This five-day event celebrates Icelandic food, music, film and environmental initiatives.

It lasts Thursday through Monday at various locations around Boston.

Some events include a five-course meal prepared by Icelandic chef Viktor Andresson.

You can also head to Kendall Square Cinema to view films in the Icelandic Film Festival.

Voted "best comedy of the year" seven times by the Boston Globe, "Shear Madness" is a humorous mystery theatrical experience.

During this improvisational play, a murder is committed and audience members get to spot clues, question suspects and solve this very unconventional crime.

You can head to the Charles Playhouse in Boston to see a play whose outcome is never the same. Tickets are $50 or discounted if you have a AAA card.

Lastly, if you want to continue the St. Patrick's Day festivities after the parade Sunday, you can head to the Wilbur Theatre in Boston to see Irish tenor Ronan Tynan.

Tynan, a Sony recording artist, has trained with the likes of Luciano Pavarotti. His performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range from $32 to $55.
