WS Development plans to transform the lot that this summer housed the Cisco Brewers beer garden into a community ice-skating rink along Seaport Boulevard.
The rink and accompanying "warming tent" are expected to open in December and remain open through February, said Yanni Tsipis, WS Development’s senior vice president for the Seaport District.
The rink will be roughly 100 feet by 60 feet, Tsipis said, and skaters will be charged a "nominal" fee of a few dollars for entry.
