(NECN) - In the latest in a series of speeches delivered to the Chief Executives' Club of Boston, Robert Dudley, British Petroleum managing director and executive vice president for the Americas and Asia, delivers remarks during the ongoing Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

The club works in partnership with the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. The group sponsors a speakers series at which top executives address the challenges facing business today.

Few companies have faced a challenge like British Petroleum has since one of its Gulf drilling rigs exploded, causing a massive oil spill that continues to pump oil into the waters from the sea floor.

Mr. Dudley represented BP on behalf of the group CEO, Tony Hayward, who at the time was dealing with the crisis in Louisiana. Watch him deliver his remarks in the video player above.
