“The Possible Project” Established to Assist Disadvantaged Youths

Teaching entrepreneurship and business skills is the goal of the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based nonprofit "The Possible Project."

They received a big boost recently after the Biogen Idec Foundation awarded the organization a $500,000 grant.

Laurence Reid and Jacey Buel of the project joined NECN’s business show to discuss their organization and what it strives to achieve.

Reid said the project works toward aiding disadvantaged youths in the development of entrepreneurship and business skills.

According to Buel, Biogen Idec’s grant will allow students to learn how to make their own products in a hands-on environment.

The project is thrilled to have partnered with Biogen Idec, a longtime fixture in the Cambridge community.
