(NECN) - Massport officials say parking at Boston's Logan Airport has reached capacity, and will have to direct drivers to overflow parking at Suffolk Downs in East Boston.

Officials say the overflow parking at Suffolk Downs takes effect starting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday; however, Massport expects parking at Logan to return to normal starting at 4 p.m.

Massport says the capacity was caused in part by February vacation in Massachusetts ending and beginning in New Hampshire.

As always, Massport says it's encouraging drivers to consider alternates, including the Logan Express.
