(NECN) - Peter Howe is on the business beat looking at the impact of the Boston Marathon and donations to charity, a move planned for the Boston Globe, home sale prices falling, Novartis deals and a changing pharmaceuticals industry.
One of the things that struck Howe the most about the 2014 Boston Marathon was simply how much fun the event was. It harkened back to "the good old days," and the crowd was full of exuberant energy.
A big step was made in John Henry's efforts to sell the Boston Globe's Dorchester headquarters. He recently hired a firm to put the complex on the selling block. The move doesn't come as a surprise as Howe described the newspaper as "swimming" in the current space.
