(NECN) – NECN business editor Peter Howe was on the Business Beat talking about record setting jobs figure in Massachusetts.
March employers added 8100 new jobs and the unemployment rate fell to 6.3 percent in Massachusetts. A total of 3.4 million people were working in the state, which is an all-time high.
“A data point that I find fascinating more jobs than ever in history within the city of Boston, as well, which obviously feeds into that same trend,” Howe said.
In addition, Howe discusses a massive grant by Siemens to help train workers in advanced manufacturing jobs and new casino complications.
