US Airways and American Airlines Close Merge Deal

On Monday, investors will be listening closely to comments from Federal Reserve officials who will be speaking on the economy.

Additionally, the $18 billion merger between U.S. Airways and American Airlines closes on Monday, which will create the world’s largest airline. Passengers will not see visible changes jets or to their frequent flyer programs until early next year.

Ebay coined Green Monday in 2007, which marks one of the busiest online shopping days of the year. On Monday, several online retailers will be offering the same deals they offered on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
