Museum attendance is falling off in much of New England, according to a new report from the Boston Business Journal.

In Massachusetts, 25 of the largest museums reported a combined attendance slightly more than 9.6 million visitors in 2014, which equates to more than 22,000 fewer than in all of 2013.
