It's time to look back at 2014 and how one startup that made news in New England, across the country and around the world with positive and negative results.

Boston Business Journal says 2014 was the year startups challenged the establishment with mixed results, with one more than others: Uber, the ride-sharing company.

"A lot happened with Uber around the world and in Massachusetts particularly over the past year," BBJ's David Harris said.
