Members of NECN’s Boston Business Editors Roundtable talked about some of the stories they've each been covering.
NECN business editor Peter Howe, Shirley Leung of the Boston Globe, and George Donnelly of the Boston Business Journal weighed in.
The roundtable began by discussing Google's Cambridge, Massachusetts expansion.
Howe said that he thinks keeping an eye on the competition is part of the reason why Google expanded in Cambridge, as companies like Amazon and Facebook also have offices there.
“I think it’s a good signal that Cambridge and Boston matter in the tech universe. They could have easily done this somewhere else and it shows that we have a lot of talent here,” Leung added.
In addition, the roundtable discussed Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and his office renovation.
