    It's back to school week here at NECN. We're giving you an inside look at everything you need to know from grade school to college.

    Getting the all clear from the doctor should be one of the preparations for going back to school.

    Doctor Clement Bottino from Boston Children's Hospital joined NECN to tell us why.

    Clement says immunizations need to be up to date. All emergency contact information, illness or allergy your child may have should be documented. Also, if your child needs medication during the school day, arrangements should be made with the nurse.

    Sleep, nutrition and exercise are also vitally important to the healthy development of a child.
