Two New England cities are among the top ten healthiest cities in America, according to a new report from betterdoctor.com.
Boston ranks at number one and Hartford, Connecticut, sits at number five.
The overall score is assessed with three factors, including if residents are fit and healthy, if medical care is accessible and high-quality and if residents have health insurance.
The report says Boston has the highest percentage of population with health insurance at 95.6 percent.
According to the report, 92 percent of Hartford’s residents have health insurance and the city has a high doctor-resident ratio.
