Police in Middleboro, Massachusetts, are investigating after a motor vehicle accident resulted in the death of a 70-year-old man.
The accident happened at 5:24 Tuesday morning on Plympton Street near Pilgrim’s Crossing.
The vehicle was going south on Route 105 when it lost control and struck a telephone pole and tree. The vehicle came to rest in the roadway.
The area was closed during the investigation, but the roadway has opened up.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
