Authorities in New Hampshire say a young woman's bad reaction to LSD will likely lead to the arrest of 12 University of Massachusetts-Amherst students.
The Caledonian Record reports that Bethlehem police responded Tuesday to the UMass Outing Club cabin on a report of an 18-year-old woman who was thrashing and out of control after allegedly taking the hallucinogenic drug.
Officer Andrew Hennessey says police found many forms of marijuana at the cabin. He says students admitted to taking LSD, but none was found.
A UMass spokesman said Thursday the school built the cabin in the fall of 1978.
He says the university is aware of the incident.
Hennessey says arrests haven't been made but are pending. They could face misdemeanor drug and alcohol charges. No identities have been released.
