Man Charged After Stolen Car Pursuit, Crash

Police in Bedford, New Hampshire, say a man has been charged following the pursuit of a stolen motor vehicle that ended with a crash.

Forty-six-year-old Paul Frascona of Manchester was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property and disobeying an officer.

Around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a stolen Honda Accord crossed over the Bedford line into Manchester and went over the median at the intersection of Queen City Avenue and Second Street, causing a crash into another motorist.

As a result, the two roads were shut down, snarling traffic and leaving major delays.

Police say Frascona was severely injured in the crash and is still hospitalized. His passenger, who has not been charged, was also injured and is being treated a local hospital.

Both Bedford and Manchester Police are investigating.
