2 Arrested On Forgery Charges

Steven Potter, 24, and Jillian Marcotte, 28, were charged by Nashua, NH Police

The Nashua, New Hampshire Police Department arrested two people on Monday in connection with forging checks.

On May 25, investigators received information that several checks were stolen from a business in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. These checks were later cashed without the owner’s knowledge.

Steven Potter, 24, was identified as the person who cashed the stolen checks. He is charged with forgery, which is a Class B felony, and is held on $10,000 bail.

In addition, Jillian Marcotte, 28, was charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another to commit forgery. She is being held on $5,000 bail.

Potter and Marcotte will be arraigned in the ninth Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
