A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an apartment drug lab that forced the evacuation of a Manchester, New Hampshire, apartment building.
Richard Flanders, 31, was arrested Tuesday on an arrest warrant outside of his apartment at 336 Lake Avenue.
Police responded to the apartment building Monday after a tenant called about a strong odor coming from one of the apartments.
Police located Derek Russell, 40, who they say was concocting an exotic drug. Russell doesn't live in the building, but he had stayed in one of the apartments overnight.
Authorities determined the product in the glass jars to be DHT, Dimethyltryptamine, a psychedelic hallucinogen that can cause blackouts.
Russell was arrested Monday and arraigned by phone Tuesday.
During the investigation, police located a safe with traces of Methamphetamine and a birth certificate for Flanders. An arrest warrant was obtained for Flanders, who was arrested Tuesday. He was charged with possession of a controlled drug and was released on $1,000 bail.
