4 Hurt in Crash Involving Boston Police Cruiser, Wrong-Way Driver

Four people were injured Wednesday night in a crash involving three cars, one of which was stolen and another a Boston Police cruiser.

The crash happened at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Seaver Street in the Dorchester neighborhood, police said. The stolen car, occupied by two males estimated to be between 16 and 17 years old, was heading the wrong way down Blue Hill Avenue when it struck a cruiser and also hit another car head-on.

The car that was hit head-on was occupied by a man and woman.

Boston EMS said four people were taken to local hospitals. The officer in the cruiser was not injured.

Police said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
