On Saturday, a 7-year-old girl was air-lifted to Vermont's largest hospital after sustaining injuries in a car crash.
The call came in at 3:15 p.m. for the single-vehicle crash on Battle Row Road in Hyde Park, Vermont.
Chris Cole, 39, was operating the vehicle when it crossed into the east bound lane and struck a tree.
The 7-year-old, female passenger was transported to Copley Hospital and then air-lifted to Fletcher Allen Hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation. Police say speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
