(NECN) - Two Mass. women have died while vacationing in Cancun, Mexico.
The husband of one of the victims told NECN the women went a few feet deep into the water Tuesday night and got swept away.
He says the victims are from Mansfield.
A third woman was also vacationing with them survived and we are told she on her way back to Massachusetts Thursday evening.
NECN has also confirmed that the hotel the women were staying at was the Cancun Grand Park Royal Hotel.
