Ajay in Malden: "I have a question regarding first time home buyer credit. I want to buy a house. I'm a first time home buyer and will be eligible for the mortgage on my own income. However, as a safety net I was contemplating including my son as a co-borrower so if I lose my job and he ends up paying the loan he would be able to claim the mortgage interest tax credit. He already owns a home, but is planning to sell it and stay with us when we have our home."
