I currently have large debt between house, home equity, boat loan and credit cards. My husband also just lost his job. I'm looking to pay someone for a session on exploring whether I should file for bankruptcy or just stop paying on the boat loan and possibly renegotiate credit cards.
I need to understand my options. Who should I call?

My wife and I need a simple budget system. We want to use 10 categories (clothes, groceries, etc.) and give each category a dollar amount for that month. As we spend we enter the dollar amount spent, and it shows us what we have left to spend. The system needs to be online so we can view and edit on our separate laptops yet still have up to date information. Any suggestions?
