Bermuda Braces for Hurricane Igor

(NECN) - Bermuda is bracing for what could be a direct hit from Hurricane Igor tomorrow or Monday. Beaches are empty and tourists are trying to get one of the last flights off the island.

Igor is still a Category 2 storm, down from Category 4 earlier in the week. Officials warn its pounding rains and driving winds could be deadly.

Bermuda Minister of Housing David Burch says they're prepared and ready.
