(NECN: Jennifer Eagan) - For bargain hunting shoppers, today is one of those days you just can't beat. Some shoppers have been lined up since Wednesday night to get the best post-Thanksgiving deals.
For those deals, it now means getting up in time for stores to open at 4 a.m., and sometimes, waiting in line for a few days. That's what happened at South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Massachusetts, where shoppers definitely meant business.
The hot item? Giant TVs selling for $250 less than they would usually be worth.
The Target store manager says so far, they actually are some of the best deals of the season.
The first lady in line said she was there since 7 p.m. last night, when her and her friend took turns warming up in their car.
There was a countdown until 4 a.m. when doors opened, but with increased security, it was controlled chaos.
