Boston High-rise Evacuated; Elevated Carbon Monoxide Levels

(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - A high-rise that houses the elderly in Boston, Massachusetts was evacuated this morning due to elevated carbon monoxide levels.

Boston Fire tells NECN that all 168 apartments of the Walnut Park building on Columbus Avenue have been cleared, while the building is being aired out.

The elevated levels have been traced back to a water heater that was not working properly.
