(NECN/CNN) Players need hats and gloves to participate in this chess game. An ice rink in Grand Rapids, MI has been transformed into a giant frozen chess game. It took the game's two designers nearly six weeks to complete. The checkered board is painted on ice and each game piece is sculptured entirely of ice. It is being featured on Food Network's TV show "Ice Brigade" and will stay put for as long as the weather cooperates
