Connecticut May Have Caught a Break From East Coast Blizzard

(NECN: Brian Burnell, Hartford, Conn.) - In Connecticut, Governor Jodi Rell says her state caught a break in the winter storm. She says given that New Jersey got three feet of snow, the 7-15 inches that fell in Connecticut was no big deal.

The Southwestern part of the state, was hit hardest by the storm.

Gov. M. Jodi Rell says the storm caused a few spin-outs and minor accidents but no major damage was reported.

As of Monday evening, more than 22,000 customers were still without power.

Brian Burnell has the latest on the cleanup effort in Connecticut.
