(NECN) - According to the Hartford Courant, a document released Tuesday in superior court in Bristol, Conn. suggests that police suspect that Aaron Hernandez was in an SUV involved in a 2012 double homicide.
The warrant reportedly does not say whether there is evidence that Hernandez was the man who pulled the trigger.
Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado were shot and killed in July of 2012.
They were gunned down shortly after leaving Cure Lounge with friends.
Prosecutors have not filed charges.
Hernandez is already behind bars facing murder charges in the shooting death of Odin Lloyd.
