(NECN/NBC News: John Vigliotti) - One of the many structures that fell victim to Superstorm Sandy was scheduled to be demolished on Saturday - but the dismantling of the Long Island Boardwalk was delayed until Sunday after a huge crowd arrived to watch it go down.
The boardwalk holds many memories to area residents and tourists.
