(NECN: Milton, Mass.) - William Keating, the Norfolk County District Attorney, this afternoon held a news conference regarding the death of Delvonte Tisdale.
Tisdale was the North Carolina teen whose mutilated body was found in Milton, Massachusetts last month.
Two dark Nike Air Force sneakers were recovered today in a wooded area of Milton. A red shirt, also consistent with family descriptions, was found. Grease marks were found on the clothes. The items were found along a path a Boston-bound plane would have taken while approaching the city.
Keating says 16-year-old Tisdale likely fell from an aircraft. Keating said authorities believe Tisdale hid in the airplane, in what Keating called a major breach of airport security.
Tisdale was a junior ROTC member.
Tisdale's body was found less than 24 hours after he was last seen in Charlotte, North Carolina.
