FAA: Small Plane Crashes in Mass., 2 People Dead

ORANGE, Mass. (AP) - An aviation official says a small plane has
crashed near an airport in Massachusetts, killing both people
aboard.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Jim Peters says the
plane crashed Tuesday night in Orange, a town of about 7,500
residents in the western part of the state.

He says the single-engine Cessna 172 had left an airport in
Orange and crashed about a mile away.
