Four Inmates Indicted in Stabbing of Mass. Correction Officer

(NECN) - Four inmates have now been indicted in the stabbing of a correction at Souza-Baranowski Correction Center in Shirley, Mass.

Officer Nathan Beauvais was stabbed in the neck with a prison made knife in June at the maximum-security prison.

He has since recovered.

A melee followed the stabbing and six other correction officers were injured.

On Wednesday, a grand jury indicted four inmates on various charges, including armed assault with intent to murder.
