(NECN/CNN) - A popular snack food is celebrating a sweet anniversary -- the Kit Kat is 75.
Kit Kat has been giving millions a break for decades with its fingers of wafers and chocolate.
It started out as "chocolate crisp" in a blue wrapper in 1935 -- made by Rowntree's. The confection was renamed Kit Kit in 1937. It was bought by Nestle in 1988.
