(NECN: Tom Langford, Taunton, Mass.) - Police are trying to find out who struck and killed a skateboarder Thursday night in Taunton.
Nicholas Silva-Thomas was to be a senior at Taunton High School this fall, where he was a member of the wrestling team. Friends said Silva-Thomas loved wrestling, skaeboarding, and hanging out with his friends.
"I would hope that somebody comes to their senses and comes forward," said the boy's aunt.
The incident took place at 9:30 p.m. on Bay Street near the entrance to Watson Pond, police said.
