(NECN: Melissa Toupin, Holden, Mass.) - A woman went into labor on her way to the hospital, and had her baby delivered in the back of an ambulance.
Holden firefighters Sean Smith and Rob Nickerson got the call Tuesday morning. A woman and her husband were on their way to the hospital, but called 911 when they knew the contractions were getting too close.
The firefighters were able to get the woman into the ambulance and deliver baby William.
