(NECN: Katie Daly, Worcester, Mass.) - Some brave Holy Cross athletes are stepping off the athletic fields, and onto the auction block.
They will be auctioned off to other classmates to raise money for the Big Sister, Big Brother program.
The highest bidder will get to take the athletes out on a date.
This will be the second year the college hosted an event like this and organizers expect to raise thousands of dollars. Dee Goens is on the basketball team. For him the bar is set pretty high.
Camille Trainor is representing the softball team; she says she can't wait for the bidding to begin.
So armed with a smile and a few moves, these students are hoping that when they are on the catwalk next week they will be putting their best foot forward.
