(NECN) - A mug shot of Josh Brolin has been released.
The "Gangster Squad" actor was arrested for public intoxication on New Year's Eve.
Brolin was picked up in Santa Monica, Calif.
Police said the actor was unable to care for himself and was taken into custody.
Brolin plays a police sergeant in the upcoming "Gangster Squad" film.
