Mass. Man Arrested for Threatening to Blow Up House

(NECN) - A Pembroke, Mass. man is under arrest after allegedly threatening to blow up a house.

Family members called police to 39 Birch St., reporting that a man was pouring gasoline all over the house. When police arrived, they encountered two juveniles who needed medical attention.

The home was evacuated and the fire department was called in.

William Rearick was found in a basement bedroom with a gas can and a propane bottle. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Rearick is facing a slew of charges and is expected to be arraigned Thursday.
