(NECN: Tim Kelley) - NECN meteorologist Tim Kelley says the region is in for a major nor'easter that will bring heavy rain along the coast and heavy wet snow inland.
The snow line is expected to be north and west of Interstate 84 in Connecticut and Massachusetts, with up to 10 inches of snow expected in western Connecticut. The height of the storm will be from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.
There will be blizzard conditions at some point during the storm, and afterward temperatures will drop into the teens and 20s in many areas on Monday.
