(NECN) - Beverly Hills, Calif. was preparing, as the hottest stars in film and television were expected to walk down the red carpet for the 70th annual Golden Globes Sunday night.
The Golden Globe after-parties are known for elegance and extravagance, and the 2013 event would be no different.
The NBCUniversal party was expected to be environmentally-themed - incorporating energy-efficient lighting and bamboo flooring.
"We're trying to be the forefront of showing that you can have fancy and wonderful and black tie worthy events that are environmentally forward thinking and taking into account leaving as little of a footprint as we can," Hollace Davids said.
There was a big buzz surrounding the Warner Brothers' post-party, which would feature walls made entirely of Godiva chocolate and a 20-foot gold chandelier.
The Golden Globes were set to air Sunday night at 7 p.m. EST on NBC.
