News Conference: Amy Bishop Indicted for Murder in 1986 Death of Her Brother

(NECN: Canton, Mass.) - Norfolk County District Attorney William Keating announced today that Amy Bishop has been indicted for murder in the first degree in the 1986 shooting death of her brother.

On December 6, 1986, 18-year-old Seth Bishop was shot and killed by his sister, Amy Bishop, at their home in Braintree, Massachusetts.

The death of Seth Bishop was originally ruled an accident. But, authorities began reinvestigating the case after Amy Bishop was charged in February with going on a shooting rampage at the University of Alabama-Huntsville.

A grand jury has been hearing evidence in the case.
