Official: All Suspects in MBTA Brawl Turn Themselves in

(NECN) - MBTA Transit Police confirms that all of the six suspects connected to a brawl on board the MBTA's Red Line last weekend have turned themselves in to authorities Wednesday.

Transit Police Lieutenant Detective Richard Sullivan says they are not facing charges as of now, and the brawl is still under investigation.

The victim suffered bruises after six suspects - two women and four men - assaulted him Sunday night on a train at South Boston's Broadway subway stop.

Police say two women jumped in to help the victim and were assaulted by the group, too.
